NRG Innovations Hood Dampers made for carbon fiber and fiberglass hoods. These units allow you to open your hood during high wind conditions while remaining popped up and stable. NRG hood dampers are thoroughly tested for repeated use to avoid injuries while working on a vehicle caused by the hood collapsing onto an individual. NRG hood dampers feature oil filled shocks and lightweight dampening for lightened hood applications, these dampers have lift assist and slower decline attributes that provide a stable work area and a way to safely carry out modifications under the hood. All NRG hood dampers come complete with mounting brackets and hardware for a simple and easy installation.  Comes in polished for stock hoods and carbon fiber for carbon fiber hoods.
